Fat Daddy Has Been will be returning to The Logan House in Trolley Sq. Wilmington, the bands home town on Friday Feb. 24, 2012 (10 pm to 1am). The band will be playing brand new songs from their upcoming yet to be titled 4th album. The recent addition of their new saxophone player Andrew James rounds out Fat Daddy’s big horn driven sound. They will be performing upstairs. The Logan House always offers great sound, good drink specials, and a party atmosphere. Be sure to get there early!!

Fat Daddy Has Been, will be playing Wilmington’s World Cafe Live @ The Queen Theatre (500 N. Market St.) Thursday January 19th with The Common Room, and Sublime tribute band Bad Fish. Fat Daddy will be premiering songs from their up coming fourth album while Bad Fish is known, for giving you a little slice of the 90′s by tributing the monumental band Sublime. The two bands will fit perfect together, and it will be a night that will have the dance floor packed. Fat Daddy Has Been features a full horn section, bass guitar, guitar, drums, and the smooth Hip-Hop vocals and harmonies of front man Marchitect.

Fat Daddy Has Been will be returning to the stage, after a brief hiatus due to pre production and songwriting for their untitled upcoming 4th album. They will be playing in their native Delaware in New Castle at J.B. Mcginnes (519 E Basin Rd New Castle, DE 19720-4230)
Both bands feature some of Delaware’s most seasoned musicians, and will not only make for a great party, but a musically sound night of technical profficiency. Friday November 18th with Delaware favorite and Spark Summer Series winner Modern Exile. Modern Exile recently released their self title debut E.P and will be performing songs from it.

Fat Daddy Has Been will be playing at Midnight, Saturday Sept. 3, 2011 in Newark Delaware at Mojo on Main (270. E. Main st. Newark De. 19711). The event will celebrate a successful year for Mojo on Main, a venue that revived the live music scene on Main st. after the unfortunate closing of The East End Cafe. A variety of acts have performed their this year ,everyone from Fat Daddy Has Been, to the rapper Bizzy Bone (Bone Thugs -n- Harmony). Some incredible rock history was made in this iconic venue with amazing artists who graced the small, but significant, stage. Dobbs is such a legendary venue that a famous radio sound byte has Eddie Vedder talking about how he loved playing JC Dobbs with Pearl Jam. He gave a shout-out to the NEW JC DOBBS at a recent area Pearl Jam concert. It’s also the stage where the late, great Bo Diddley ripped through his signature rhythms.
Nirvana played here when they were a quartet and then twice again as a threesome, just before their album Nevermind’s explosive debut. Slash jammed with a local band in an impromptu Johnny-B-Good jam on Dobbs’ stage. Billy Corgin and Courtney Love hung out at the bar, as have members of the Smashing Pumpkins, The Breeders and L7.
Artists who made their Philadelphia debut at JC Dobbs include: Soul Asylum, Nirvana, Mother Love Bone, Indigo Girls, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Green Day and The Offspring.

Fat Daddy Has Been will be performing August 11, 2011 with New Orleans Funk Powerhouse Big Sam’s Funky Nation. The show is in Fat Daddy Has Been’s native Wilmington Delaware at The Queen Theatre. Both bands feature horn sections, and danceable funk grooves, that makes the line up a perfect fit.
Big Sam’s Funky Nation is a driving force of urban funk. Ryan White, of the Oregonian, says the band is “tight enough (and hot enough) to turn coal into a diamond!” The band is led by trombone powerhouse, Big Sam Williams, formerly the trombonist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, who the San Francisco Chronicle calls “the top man on the slide trombone in the birthplace of jazz.” Big Sam refuses to let the audience sit still. Between the band’s solos, Big Sam’s signature dance moves and his distinctive trombone riffs, the energy level is high voltage when this band takes the stage!

The song which was remixed by Tim Sonnefeld and Fat Daddy Has Been at Milkboy Studios in Ardmore Pa, features a verse from Dice Raw (Producer of The Roots), and a bonus third verse from Fat Daddy Has Been front man Marchitect.
